Our Outlook platform is based on our code base that has been developing for the last 7 years. Now it is a complicated systems that allows easily integrate different client and server sides systems to provide a solution specifically for your business.

Outlook Plug-in Architecture

Plug-in contains Parser object that reads XML configuration file. This file includes information about appearance, behavior and extensions of plug-in. Most aspects of plug-in work are controlled by XML-configuration file.

After reading XML-file, Parser find an items description and another object called Registrar adds entries about this items to its internal storage with description what they should to do or what for it needed.

Registrar also has a universal interface for loading any number of external extensions which extends functionality or adds some new. Registrar also adds entries to its internal storage about all loaded extensions.

The same Platform can be used to develop plug-ins for Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox.

Functional blocks

Outlook plug-ins enhance Outlook email and newsgroup client functionality resulting in more productive emailing experience and information management. Outlook plug-in development allows to add absolutely new function to Outlook, automate some routine operations and customize Outlook user interface.

Install
Our solution provides a various ways to install plug-in. The installation is done via .MPKG .DMG or .ZIP file. The installation allows end users to agree with a license terms, choose installation path or choose any additional options.

Update
Outlook framework provides various ways for toolbar update. Manually initiated by user or silent update automaticaly initiated..

Communication
Plug-in can communicate with servers or any applications with standard protocols and technologies: HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP.

Outlook Events
An Outlook Add-in can catch Outlook events such as sending message, incoming message and appointment alerting.

Behavior
Customize Outlook behavior when you modify, create or delete items.

Custom window
Outlook Add-in can create custom window in Outlook Navigation Panel.

Inspector
You can improve Outlook Inspector window with Add-in: add specific buttons, comboboxes and dropdowns.

Main Window
Outlook Add-in can add additional features to Outlook Main Window: toolbar with custom buttons and comboboxes or context menu on such items as folder view, contacts, mail items and other.

Data Access
Our solution works with outlook data and can access mail, contacts, calendar and item metadata.
